Sapporo, Pachinko, shopping street Tanukikoji, TV Tower Observation, landmark Clock Tower

We only planned stay a night at Hokkaido-Sapporo. Why only a night? Ain't Sapporo the capital and largest city? Yes, but there were too many top-rated destinations and we came from a City, so wished to "feel & smell" more of the nature.

After checked in (Tmark City Hotel), hurled our backpacks, no time wasted, we started hunting for our dinner. There were many restaurants in the vicinity. But this caught our attention with their crowd and a huge promo banner. It's snowing outside so a bowl of hot Ramen seem great.
Pick and match the dishes we wanted using the self-service machine. Menu was in Japanese
and fortunately the friendly lady staff came to our rescue.

These were Japanese yen in hundreds.

Pachinko (resembles a vertical pinball machine) is a type of game originating in Japan.
It is used as both a form of recreational arcade game and much more frequently as a gambling device, filling a Japanese gambling niche comparable to slot machine (Jackpot).

I was brought to Las Vegas in Seconds. It's in my bucket list to visit Las Vegas.

You should not missed this 1-km stretch shopping street - Tanukikoji.
There are around 200 shops with Restaurants, Supermart, Souvenirs, hotels, etc. This street is roofed
and its warm in the shop during winter.

Is this unique architecture a Bar/Pub? I didn't find out.

especially during Winter season. Ropeway + Morries Car cost 1700 yens
There are many mountains with ropeway in Hokkaido so we have skipped this.

They call this the streetcar. It take you round the city. Map above photo.

Sapporo TV Tower about 147 meters high. You can enjoy a 360 degree panoramic view
of Sapporo from the observation floor.
There is also a JR Tower Observation "T38" nearby and is about 16 meters high with observation
on 38 floor. Both have admission fees of 720 yens for adult.

Clock Tower a Sapporo landmark. It was built in 1878 as a drill hall of
Sapporo Agricultural College. Entrance fees 200 yens.
