Asahiyama zoo at Hokkaido, penguin walk parade in winter

Today morning after check out, we will be leaving for the popular Asahiyama Zoo. Winter will bring you a very different experience, as the entire outdoor will be blanket with white and soft powdery snow. It will bring you full unique winter experiences.

Asahiyama zoo has many animals that are most active in winter. So you will have chance to watch
them roaming and playing in the snow. You will get to see the favorites penguins being taken for a walk on the snow close to you.

On the way, beautiful scenery stayed alongside with us.

The zoo was not far away - about 30 mins.

Wow...... awesome! 
Pardon me, as this was my first time "live" in this scene.

You can access by via different Gates (East/West/Front)
The zoo start at 10:30am and can be very heavy traffic to the carpark.
*Tip; We might not be familiar with the car and number plate, so better to snap a photo
in case we cannot find the car. So many looks similar.

Must be tired with their short legs walking around. Time to be back.

You can queue up and get to see the polar bears close up in the 'Seals Eye" of a Dome shape glass.

Look at the lovely feathers of this Red-crowned crane, as soft as the powdery snow?

Fierce animals house section. Snow leopard, Siberian tigers, panthers, etc
They are well presented to visitors. You can watch them very close.

You are not allow to touch them. For your safety as well.

This tiger preparing to jump on me because i was showing my 'furry hat' that looked like prey.

This captivating setup was for the gorilla. Too bad they lazy to move around.
Maybe have to wait for meal time.
