Observe the world: Day 2 Pantai Kok - Berjaya Langkawi Beach Resort

After buffet breakfast, check-out and explored Kuah. Then drive north towards Tanjung Rhu Beach. We will have a look at some interesting tourist spots circle on the map.

This is the place every tourist may come look for the eagle or catch their ferry. The carpark is large but still difficult to find a slot. I parked along the road. No coupon needed. There are Starbuck, KFC and food court here.

This the famous eagle @Eagle Square. You will catch people busy snapping photo, trying to attempt their distinctive shot, their most gorgeous angle. How's my shot?

Before driving our way to this "Durian waterfall", we drop by Langkawi Fair Mall's supermarket (opposite Legends Park) to get some bottle mineral water, fruits and snacks. It be cheaper to top up here. You can lunch at this mall as well. This the entrance of "Durian Perangin Waterfall" (below)

Where are my faourite Durians? I could not see even one.

If you feel like swim/play around, i would suggest you do at the next Waterfall - Seven Wells Waterfall. But if you think have the time then go ahead - you jump i jump.

Tanjung Rhu Resort (below) You can request to explore this resort like i did.

You can skip this "Black Sand Beach". Nothing much just black sand aka dirty sand.

Next we reached Pantai Kok beach, which you can see Telaga Harbour Park/Perdana Quay. Take some photos, if not you can continue further west to Berjaya Beach Resort.

It's about 4pm reaching Oriental Village. Berjaya Beach Resort is all the way drive in from here. Will be rush to ride Cable Car so we decided to catch the Seven Wells Waterfall before sky dark. If you wanted to get wet there, then suggest you plan it another day.

The journey up is about more than 600 steps. Indeed it taxing. But you will enjoy it.

Check-in to Berjaya Beach Resort. This room was booked with rain forest view (cheaper) but looks awesome with sea view from balcony - Room 3151. Very nice and cosy room. It's a distance away from lobby. But there are mini-bus (below) to fetch you around upon request. No breakfast was included for my stay but given 20% off.

The resort compound is very huge. It's a lovely place. Have your breakfast at the balcony looking at the sea, breathing load of fresh air, after that go for a jog, and cool down laze at the pool. If you have a higher budget, can choose suite room on the sea. There is a beach restaurant which serve breakfast as well.
