Driving from Obihiru, saw Mt Tomamu, drop by Muroran and reached Lake Toya

Every morning, we will set off after breakfast. No hurry. No alarm clock. That's the advantage of not joining any tour group. But we have to drive and stay alert. So advisable to be well rested. This will be a long drive from Obihiru to destination at famous Lake Toya.

Journey will be about 4 hours 15 mins. We will pass by many tourist hot spots

like, Tomamu Ski Resort, Chitose, Noboribetsu, Muroran, etc.

We could see Tomamu hotels - two tall towers.

It was so beautiful that i kept looking at them even while driving. Even though, you could

see the scenery from video, but it was very different compared to when you were there.

We intended to take a break at Muroran and checked out the Hakucho Bridge

that fly across the river.

This was the Hakucho Bridge. Could be nicer when sky was dark. 

It was raining and very cold.

It's getting dark and we not familiar with the place so better get on our way to Lake Toya

and our next accommodation. Initially, we wanted to try the above recommendation.

Much depended on our car headlight

Entered the highway again and paid 870 yen when we exited at Lake Toya.
We will have our night at traditional Japanese Inn - Ryokan.
