The Ranee Boutique Suites at Jalan Main Bazaar Kuching

For our 3rd and 4th nights, we transferred to "The Ranee Boutique Suites". It was just about 11 mins walk away from my earlier hotel - Grand Margherita Hotel.

Why change hotel? Good question!

I love to try different environment (hotel vicinity, room, even community), if it does not cause too much inconvenient. Furthermore, I can savor different hotel's breakfast. You like 4 nights with same breakfast? Not me. When room not comfortable or unhappiness with service, it will not ruin my entire trip. Sometimes we will get different experience at different space. Anyway it subjective, weight your pro and con. You should plan and do what you take pleasure in right? It's your holiday!

This is a 24-room Boutique hotel build from old shophouses, facing the Sarawak River.
You may not see the river in your room, but it is just along the popular
Jalan Main Bazaar street (map below point 1).

You will walk along those old shophouses, until you reached No.6, suddenly stand
a stylish & fusion boutique hotel to catch your attention.

You can stroll along the wide Sarawak river to Ranee.
The white color building is Ranee.
The structure of this row of shophouses still look the same after 64 years.

The reception space (top)
(Below) Cafe Trio where you can sip your favorite coffee and observe Kuching's life

Private space outside room with story books, like a mini-library, for guests.
Enjoying the water feature with a Spa-feel corner
Understand that no two suites are alike.
I love the timber flooring so cozy. Have the feel of home.

Even the bathroom so well maintain.
Seem like i have walk into a Spa boutique.

Charging point to check your acceptable plug.

Breakfast lobby is also their MBar & Bistro lunch and dining zone

Breakfast will be choices of your prefer set. We have two breakfasts.
Ranee laksa taste like Mee Siam. And rest are breads. Not so fantastic.
